Our Kindergarten program utilizes Saxon Phonics, Saxon Math, Abeka Science and Social Studies and D’Nealian writing programs. We hold students to high standards and encourage them in their God-given talents. Our low student-to-teacher ratios (6:1 or better) provide for considerable one-on-one attention and individual teaching opportunities.

Family of Christ abides by the new state common core standards for Kindergarten. In an effort to reform the educational standards of the nation, 46 states have joined together to produce critical thinkers. The standards call for higher cognitive demand, explanation and analysis.

ACSTO Scholarship Options

ACSTO - Arizona Christian School Tuition Organization

Each year Family of Christ Learning Center receives generous donations from caring people through ACSTO (Arizona Christian School Tuition Organization). The money collected goes directly to the kindergarten students who have applied and received a scholarship through ACSTO. Donations, up to a certain amount, are matched dollar-for-dollar as credit on your Arizona state income taxes. For more information on how to apply, donate and make child recommendations, please visit the ACSTO website or take one of the ACSTO pamphlets located in the school lobby.
